Jamal joined the KPMG in June, 2009 and has since been involved in audit and related regulatory work on financial sector companies, manufacturing concerns and service industries. He has developed comprehensive knowledge through a combination of Audit and Assurance engagements. His major work was related to the accounting, internal controls, operational and regulatory aspects of the clients.

He has also been seconded to UAE Office in 2012 and KSA Office in 2013. He has been involved in the audits of multinational clients in Pakistan, UAE & KSA like HSBC, Standard Chartered, Meezan Bank Pakistan, NIB Bank Pakistan, ICI Pakistan and DP World Pakistan. Recently, he was Audit Incharge of  Bank Alfalah Pakistan – Islamic Division and Industrial Commercial Bank of China.

In addition he has been involved in various other projects and assignments such as regulatory certifications, fixed assets tagging, proposal drafting.

He has also worked voluntary for a non profit organization, ILM Society, having roots in Pakistan providing financial assistance for education. Jamal has served as General Secretary and looked overall operations for past two years which helped ILM to grow significantly and increase the donor base as well students increased to 360. All of this has really helped him to develop the required skills and abilities to perform well on all the jobs specially project management, team handling, stress management and client handling.

His sector expertise and key skills include – IFRS, ISA, Risk based reviews of internal controls and processes, and other regulatory assurance engagements.
